Jodi Barnett, M.A., is a project
manager with BHRS, a department within the College of Arts
and Sciences at UAA. Ms. Barnett's special interest is
physical health, obesity, and health behaviors. After
receiving her master's degree in Applied Health Psychology
from Northern Arizona University in 2002, she worked in the
field of health promotion research gaining experience in
both the USA and United Kingdom. Her background
includes the management of a 3-year randomized control trial
promoting physical activity in people with Type 2 diabetes.
In her spare time Jodi enjoys mountain biking, rock
climbing, hiking, playing piano, attending live music
events, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
